Terms of service

^{Please read carefully before proceeding. These terms of service are made as protection for both parties.}
I can choose to decline any commission as long as I have not been paid. In case I'm unable to finalize, please see the refund section.
There may be a delay of weeks depending on the commission and life events. I will make sure to work with one commission at a time to ensure quality and you will be notified when your commission has started to progress, you can also choose to get updates on significant progress, but please take in mind that I won't work on Saturdays and I will be speaking to you most at night (GMT-3).
Details
To get a commission, you must contact me (contacts are on the main page) and give me with your commission information (the type of commission, chosen base price, style, etc.) and details, including questions to make sure I can make the commission ("Is this included in the "can I" or "can I try"?", "Is the design too complex?").
If an agreement is made on the commission, work will be started and a light sketch will be made, in this step you can choose and change it as your liking in minor adjustments, but only up to 3 major big adjustments (a complete redesign or changing it to a very different idea than the original, to avoid taking too much time in this step).
When the final sketch is chosen and reviewed, 50% advance payment will be asked, once paid, your commission will be secured and you will be notified when the commission progress begin, after this stage, you can only make 10 minor changes, as everything should have been decide during the briefing (minor changes aren't counted if it's to point out a detail I may have missed).
Once a commission is finished, I will show a watermarked preview to ensure the client is happy about it, after that, the rest of the price will be asked and after payment, the full picture will be sent without watermark, but with signature.
Refunds
If a refund is needed it will be managed this way: If the commission has only passed the briefing stage (Payment in Advance) before something made the client or me decide to not continue further, 75% can be refunded (I will include the transfer fee), and it is decreases to 50% if the refund is requested more than halfway through the commission being finished, the refund will only be of 60%, if the commission was already finished you can only ask a refund up to 2 days after the commission was completed.
What you can do with the commission
After the commission is done and paid for, you can post it in any social media you want, print it for your own use (be it on paper or professionally as a poster/canvas), gift it, or resell it at the same or lower price than the original commission if you don't want it anymore.
You are not allowed to sell it for higher profit, claiming you are the artist, or to feed an AI.
You can buy commercial rights and the price is negotiable.

Commission DetailsSimple Background: No more complex than the character, no more than 5 different elements, faint or just decoration for the character.
Complex Background: A full or detailed scene that the character to be a part of. More details than the character.

Payment consists of two parts, the upfront after agreeing to the details of the commission being 50% of the final price, when the commission is finished the other remaining half is paid (to ensure protection of both parties).
You can budget beforehand with the table below: The style and background are added to the base price for the final price, after that extra fees or discounts are counted.
Extra characters are 50% of the price.
Complexity fee is 15% of the price (only if it is moderate complexity and will be told beforehand)
If a character is extremely simple (will be informed) or is just a landscape/background only, discount is 30% of the price.
